welcome to Leo’s Letters

Hello. My name is Katie and I wanted to mark my gorgeous grandson Leo’s birth by creating something that was uniquely special to him.

Years ago, when Leo’s mum was a baby, I painted her name using letters made out of animals. It was fun but it took so much time I was never able to do something similar for my other two children. 

 

Now, with a little more time on my hands, I used watercolours and ink to write Leo. Each letter of his name depicted an animal whose name began with that letter.  I kept painting and, before I knew it, had completed the whole alphabet. This was how Leo’s Letters was born.

 

I have done several different animals for some letters, but there is a distinct shortage of animals beginning with U and X so Unicorn and X-ray tetra it is.

 

Once my designs were complete, I digitised them which enables me to create bespoke prints. I can also add any personal details tailored to each customer, such as birth weight, time of arrival or star sign or maybe a personal message.
